SAP is the largest organisation in Poland acting for the development of archival science as well as the oldest and most professional Polish company providing specialised archiving services. The Association unites the most eminent Polish archivists and is the only company in Poland to offer the full range of archiving services.

SAP has been pursuing its activities for more than 40 years. The Association uses its entire income to finance activities supporting the development of archival science, as well as to spread the knowledge on archives and the legislation concerning records management, thus investing in the better future of your archives and registries. • Archiving systems
  

The type of records and data carriers determine the archiving system to be used in a given case. A good archiving system must guarantee a high level of data security and reduce to the minimum the time necessary for accessing the required information. A crucial role in choosing the right solution is played by the needs analysis concerning the data presentation and describing the items with proper parameters suited to the nature of the collection.

• The rules and procedures

The activities of each archive or registry employee are made significantly easier by procedures regulating the filing system, documents circulation, arrangement and classification of the produced documentation, the tasks of the in-house archive etc. If designed correctly and implemented successfully, these procedures streamline records and information management significantly, making it more reasonable and effective.

• External archives
  

If there's something we can't do in a more efficient, cheaper and better way than our competitors, it's no use for us to do it. We'd better have it done by somebody who'll do it better.

• Courses and trainings

Lower- and middle-level administration employees, people responsible for running in-house archives, registries, secretariats, repositories etc. can take part in our archival courses (on two levels) to gain full professional qualifications for the job of a professional archivist or registry clerk.

• Archiving documents
  

We perform archiving activities (the process of arranging documentation) in accordance with the relevant archival regulations in use. SAP employees are the greatest experts on archival regulations in Poland, authors of textbooks on archiving, archiving handbooks and various scholarly publications in the field of archival law.
